About Proud Forest

Here at Proud Forest, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2023, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our group upon: support, empowerment and progress.

We exist to support LGBTQ+ fans of Nottingham Forest in whatever way they need. We can provide a safe space to talk about Forest, football and any other issues they may be encountering.

Through this support we can also empower each other, by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's voice is heard and respected. This will encourage open communication, share our personal experiences, and celebrate diverse perspectives. Building a sense of unity and understanding within the group will contribute to mutual empowerment.

When individuals feel empowered, they are more likely to actively engage in advocacy, education and outreach efforts. This collective strength enables us to challenge discrimination, promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity in football and achieve our ultimate goal of making the City Ground a safe and inclusive space for all Fans to be their true authentic selves.
